I’m Kris, an expert chocolatier, who has worked with some of the best confectioners in the world. Some of my earliest memories revolve around being in the kitchen, surrounded by delicious foods and desserts. From a young age I had an interest in science and the how’s and why’s of everything, and when I realized that there is a science to food, and especially chocolate, I knew that had to be my career. For the next few years, all I thought about was going to culinary school and learning as much as I could about chocolate. After I graduated I was able to get a job with one of the nation's largest artisan chocolate companies, which was a great chance to hone my skills and learn even more about the science of chocolate! Later, my wife Jordan and I had the opportunity to manage a small chocolate shop together, where we were able to learn how to run a store for ourselves, and begin the journey of starting our own company someday.
During the Coronavirus Pandemic with a lot of extra time on our hands, and a craving for any kind of comfort we could get, we started reflecting on what was truly important to us in life; time with friends, simplicity, and savoring the little moments with loved ones. We decided to start a business that would utilize our skills and knowledge of crafting delightful chocolates that spread joy, comfort, and coziness.
We strive to make little edible pieces of happiness that can be enjoyed anywhere, anytime, and with anyone.
